As a songstress fluent in English, Greek, French and Italian, Soula brings talent and professional presentation to her wide-ranging repertoire, adaptable to suit all moods and tastes.
Whilst singing from an early age, training commenced at 14 when Soula studied for two years at the Greek Music School with top composers and musical directors Kosta Clava, Mimi Plessa and many more. At 16, she entered Kosti Michailidis, a top drama school, with special permit as an excellent talent, whilst continuing, under private tutelage, to complete her high school studies in modern and period prose, Shakespeare and Greek Tragedy.
Her early 20s brought her to London where her studies continued with: English at LTC - a private language college; music under soprano Madame Coram; drama and elocution with Miss Jean Scott of RADA; as well as piano and theory of music with Martin Jacklin of the Royal Academy of Music.
An innate love of opera led to studies with Pierro Matei of the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, and also with coach Robert Wilson, a retired professor of Trinity College. Soula has also attended a Master Class with Luciano Pavarotti.
Reflecting the transition to the role of teacher of music and drama, Soula has also participated in seminars over a three-year period at the Middlesex Hospital on "Care of the Professional Voice" with Dr. Garfield Davies as Chairman, and contributions from world specialists.
